Lyle Wenino Obituary

Lyle Eugene Wenino (Gino) March 7, 1923 - October 7, 2010 Lyle Eugene Wenino of Bakersfield, CA was born March 7, 1923 in Fergus Falls, MN, and passed away October 7, 2010 at the age of 87. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, a daughter, and two wives. Gino is survived by his daughter, Cindy and husband Ron Kohler; son, Gary Wenino; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brother, Donnie Wenino and wife Diana; sister, Pauline Engebretson; and many nieces and nephews. Gino served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family. Gino will have a burial service at sea. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff at San Joaquin ICU and Hoffmann Hospice. www.bakersfield.com/obits

Gino always greeted my family, especially the grandkids with a smile and a warm hello. He will be missed by a lot of people who lived at the Wilson Street Apartments. Our condolences to his family.
