Marco Andres Maese Obituary
Marco Andres Maese was born in Montebello, California. He "represented" in Wasco as a young child, and grew up in Bakersfield, attending Rosedale Middle and graduating from Centennial High School. Marc had a soul full of charisma with many passions and interests, including law enforcement, the armed forces, music, family and friends. There are so many things to be said about a life that was cut so short. Marc could talk to anybody in the world. Using a charm and magnetism that cannot be pinpointed or described, Marc could sell anything to anybody, and convince you to buy him one too (along with something to eat, drink and a ride there). The one thing that Marc was the best at was making everyone around him feel loved. No matter what was troubling you, Marc could make you feel better.
He often used humor, but all it took was a look, squeeze, or kiss and somehow your situation was immediately improved. Marc wrestled with spirituality, addiction, and direction in life. His family and friends choose to trust that he has found the answers and peace that he frequently sought. For now, we are left with our hearts full of love for the most handsome, funny, and loving grandson, son, nephew, brother, cousin, tí, and friend you could ask for. Marco you will be missed more than you could have ever imagined. We love you...until next time..."Bye Felicia."
Marc is survived by his grandmother, Maria Garza; parents, Carmen and Joe Lopeteguy, father, Raymond Maese; brother, Ray Maese; sisters Leah Lopeteguy and Kayla Farmer; as well as countless in-laws, tias, tios, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
There will be a viewing on Monday, December 29th, from 4:00-8:00pm with a memorial service on Tuesday, December 30th at 2:00pm, at Greenlawn Southwest on Panama Lane.
