Margo Geneva Elcano January 15, 1954 - May 19, 2013 The Lord brought home an Angel, Margo Geneva Elcano, born to Joe and Geneva Espana. She was the first of four siblings. After spending her child and young adult-hood in Los Banos, CA, she married her soul-mate and best friend, Stephen M. Elcano. They began their journey in Sacramento, CA and moved to Bakersfield to make a life-time of memories. Margo passed away peacefully into eternal life. She is survived by her husband of 39 loving years, her two sons, their spouses, and their children; Stephen A. and Michelle Elcano; Kayla 18, Ethan 12, Kennedy 9, Kalei 7; Christopher and Jennifer Elcano; Kaabyn 9, twins Kaliyah and Kayle 3, and her younger brother and sister, David and Laura Espana. She is also survived by sister and brother in-law, Michele and Randy Webb, her many aunts, uncles, nephews, niece, and countless friends. Margo was a loyal and dedicated leader in the field of Medicine for many years. Her charismatic personality earned her organizations and her much respect with the Kern County Medical Physicians and Insurance Providers. Her servant leadership toward her colleagues afforded her a life time of friendships. Margo had a passion for life and loved people; she touched the lives of everyone she knew and will leave a legacy of selfless love for us to follow. She made friends with many and knew no enemies. She welcomed any new face into her home with a gentle hug and a warm smile. She spent every moment of her life making those around her happy. She had a talent of Hawaiian dancing, painting, and cooking. The times she cherished most were those spent walking hand and hand with husband and making memories with her children. She very much enjoyed spending countless hours and sleep overs with her grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday May 31, 2013, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a Rosary Service at 6:00 pm., at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Ln. Bakersfield, CA, 93313. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday June 1, 2013 at 10:00 am, Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Ln. Bakersfield, CA, 93313. www.bakersfield.com/obits
