To the Gonzalez Family: I was so very sad to hear of Maria’s passing. I had the privilege of working at Oxy with Maria for many years. Maria had a beautiful smile and loved to laugh. She was always so nice, kind and caring. Maria will be missed more than words can say. I pray that the Lord will comfort you and give you peace during this difficult time.

I admired my cousin Maria for her devotion and wonderful care of my aunt and uncle. She always had a warm smile and was kind beyond words. She will be missed by everyone who knew her I'm sure. Sleep with the angels dear cousin.

I grew up with Maria and attended K-12 with her. We often walked home together from elementary school. She was truly one of the nicest people I have ever known. May God send His spirit of peace to help guide her family through this tremendous loss.

To the Gonzalez Family,
Like so many others who have signed on, I also had the privilege of working with Maria at Oxy. The words used to describe Maria in the various messages are very consistent - sweet, caring, big smile, and gentle. Maria will truly be missed and her memories will live on through each of us. We were blessed to have known and worked with such a wonderful person. May God bless you during your time of sorrow.
