Mark Anthony Patino, 62, entered into eternal peace on February 26, 2014, in Bakersfield, California.
Mark was born on May 19th, 1951 in Brownsville, Texas, the son of Nicholas and Maria Patino. He attended Jefferson Elementary, Washington Junior High and East High School. Mark also served as a Military Police officer for the United States Armed Forces. Mark married his dear, late wife Reyna Flores in May 2002. Mark was a devoted son, brother, husband and father and will be missed greatly by family and friends.
Mark was predeceased by his father Nicholas Patino in 1980 and his beloved wife Reyna Flores Patino in 2007.
Mark leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his mother Maria Patino, whom he loved more than anything or anyone; his children Marc Patino and wife Jennifer, Virginia Robledo, Gilbert Estrada, Natalie Patino of Bakersfield, Emmanuel and Elisha Patino of Riverside, Jessica and husband Tim Miller of Okinawa Japan; his siblings, Martha, Hector and wife Gloria, Roy and wife Kristen, Pat and husband Gabriel Contreras, Nick and wife Eloise, Jackie and husband John Perez all from Bakersfield, Sergio of Washington, William of Atascadero, Phillip of Coalinga and James of Arkansas; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The viewing will be held Thursday, March 6th at Basham Mortuary from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Services to be held on Friday March 7th at Basham Mortuary at 10:00 a.m. to be officiated by Pastor Margie Galaviz Valenzuela from Upper Room Ministries. Burial to be held at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery on Niles St. immediately following services.
Mark was tired and in constant pain from his illness, he is now at rest and no longer suffering. He wouldn't want anyone to be constantly sad but would prefer for everyone to be happy and remember him the way he was in his better days.
