Murita Ann Conner Obituary
Murita Ann Conner, 55, of Bakersfield, CA, passed away March 3, 2014, after battling ovarian cancer with complications. She was a loving wife and driving force to her husband, Michael Conner, for 18 years. She was a mother to ten children, Michelle, Michael, Steven, Bobby, Tommy, K.C., Megan, Ryanne, Jeannie, and Damon. She was a mother, best friend, and clone to her niece Jackie, her everything. She was also a mother to many others and a grandmother to 28 grandchildren. She was a domestic goddess. She never pulled her punches, told you how it really was even if it hurt your feelings. She was a hero and was always there to pick you up, but always reminded you that you owed her. She was the boss, "The Jefe," and everybody knew it.
The family would like to thank the ICU nurses at Mercy Truxtun for making her last days comfortable. A viewing will be held Sunday, March 9, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Chapel - Southwest. A chapel service will be held Monday, March 10, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. Please join us as we send our beloved angel home. For condolences please visit www.greenlawnmortuaryandcemetery.com.
