bakersfield.com/obits Norma Ann Juarez July 16, 1951 - September 12, 2012 After a year long fight with cancer, Norma Ann Juarez, 61, passed away in her Bakersfield home. She is no longer suffering, no more oxygen, no more chemo, and no more pain or discomfort. Norma was born in Chicago, IL to Norman Brunke and Ann Brunett. She had two daughters, Elizabeth Clay and Christie Higginbotham. She married Raymond A. Juarez on March 17, 1999. Norma was a voracious reader and would devour any book that crossed her path. She also had a great love for her dogs, Sancho and Sissy, and a passion for gambling. She is survived by her husband Raymond Juarez; her daughters Elizabeth Clay of Sandy, UT and Christie Higginbotham of Bakersfield, CA; her grandchildren, Austin, Victoria, Allison, and Catherine Clay; and her step-children, Denise Juarez, Raymond M. Juarez, and Timothy Juarez. The family invites you to a graveside service on Wednesday, September 19th, 2012 at 10:45 a.m. at Bakersfield National Cemetery at 30338 East Bear Mountain Blvd, Arvin, CA, 93203. Following the service, you are invited to join with family and friends at 12:30 p.m. at B Ryders at 7737 White Lane, Bakersfield, CA, 93313 to reminisce and celebrate Norma's life.
