Norman Campbell Obituary
Born to Daniel Norman and Edith Campbell in Oakland, California on October 3, 1930. He graduated Southern California Bible College in 1952 and married Mary Ann Canada. They pastored multiple churches in California and Oregon, notably Bakersfield First Assembly of God and Taft First Assembly of God. He and Mary Ann had hearts for missionary work and served as missionaries to the people of Central and South America for nearly 30 years. Together they planted churches, opened Bible schools and much more. Later in life Norman traveled to churches throughout the southwest promoting missions. He was known for the phrase, "Every church needs an annual missions convention."
Norman was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Campbell. He is survived by his children Daniel and Janell Campbell, Jeffrey and Kathleen Campbell, Eric and Kathryn Cooper, John Campbell, and his eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday December 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Bakersfield First Assembly of God, 4901 California Avenue.
