Ora Lee Dennis May 25, 1917 - October 20, 2012 Ora Lee Dennis was born May 25, 1917, in Buckner, Arkansas. She was the fifth of fifteen children born to Thomas and Leatha Morgan. At the age of 16 she served as the Clevet Springs Baptist Church Sunday School Secretary. She was a very good student in school. After she completed her education, she often served as a substitute teacher at Wood Springs School where her brother David was Principal. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, 2 sons; Sonny and Bobby, 2 daughters; Norma and Virginia, 3 grandchildren; 2 sisters, 8 brothers, which includes David Morgan, her playmate and best friend. She leaves to cherish her memory 3 daughters; Ruth Bishop of Arvin, CA: Evelyn Henry (husband Charlie Ray) and Lyvonne Dennis of Bakersfield, CA, 1 son Michael Dennis (wife Jill) of Arvin, CA. and 4 sister, Darvis Johnson, Ozell Russ, Arlene Herron and Betty Hamilton all of Los Angeles, CA. 16 grandchildren and host of great grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was loved by all who knew her. She departed this world on October 20, 2012 at the age of 95 years old. She is gone from this world but will always remain in our hearts. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Arvin Funeral Home Chapel from 2 PM - 8 PM. Services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Arvin Assembly of God at 11 AM.
