Patricia (Pat) Kay Pacana February 11, 1950 - December 06, 2012 Pat married Frank Pacana on February 14, 1997 in Reno, Nevada after they moved to Bakersfield, California from Monterey, California. Frank was employed by Immigration/Customs/Enforcement investigations (ICE), and Patricia worked for J.C. Pennys as a master Manicurist. Pat retired from J.C. Pennys in 2008 and Frank retired in January 2007. Pat was also a member of the Bakersfield National Cemetery Committee, Life Member VFW Post 1468 Auxiliary, Bakersfield Eagle #93 Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary, and supported the Patriot Guard Riders on different events. Pat is survived by her Husband Frank Pacana; her children, Tammie Miller, Dawn Nicholson, Anna Marie Locklear(step-daughter), and Patrick Pacana(step-son); grandchildren, Devin Miller ( serving in Afganistan), Brent Miller, Ryan Montgomery, Bethany Montgomery, Drake Pacana, and Tiffany Locklear; great granddaughter, Malaysia Locklear; nieces, Shelly Burleson and Melisa Burleson. The Patriot Guard Riders(PGR) will honor her and escort her remains to the Bakersfield National Cemetery Final Resting Place where she will start her new journey. Memorial services will start December 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Mission Family Mortuary, 531 Chester Ave, Then her remains will be escorted to the Bakersfield National Cemetery for final services. www.bakersfield.com/obits
