Paul J. Farley January 1, 1930 - November 26, 2012 Paul was born January 1, 1930 in the Great Smoky Mountains of Robbinsville, NC. He met the Love of his life, Winnie Winfrey, when he got out of the Navy in 1951. They were married June 28, 1953 and had three beautiful daughters; they were his little princesses. Paul and Winnie moved their family to Bakersfield in 1958. Paul had the ability to exceed in everything he did with a very competitive spirit, from football, to golf, bowling, softball and even running his own machine shop. Another thing he loved was taking his grandkids to the beach for a week every year in his motor home. Memories they will never forget. Paul had a way of mentoring those around him in a very unique way. He will be so missed by all that knew him. Paul is survived by his wife of almost 60 yrs., Winnie, his three daughters, Gynnene and Blake Davis, Sharlene and Ken Souers and Jonnie and JB Rogers. Also his seven grandchildren, Nash, Nikole, Micah, Blake, Coleman, Hailey and Landon and thirteen great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Laurelglen Bible church, 2801 Ashe Rd., Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you send a donation to Hoffman Hospice.
