Paz Ibarreta Turallo January 22, 1933 - June 1, 2013 Visitation for Paz Ibarreta Turallo will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Mortuary/ Cemetery located at 3700 River Blvd., Bakersfield, CA, 93305 on Saturday 06/08/2013 from Noon - 4:30 P.M. & Sunday 06/09/2013 from Noon-7 P.M. Funeral services will be held at St. Phillip the Apostle Catholic Church locate at 7100 Stockdale Hwy, Bakersfield, CA 93309 on Monday, 6/10/2013 at 9:30 A.M. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Mortuary/Cemetery Park. Paz is survived by her husband of 59 years, Silverio Sadang Turallo Sr., 9 children: Eldest daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Saturnino Meserilla, daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Dave Zapata, daughter and son-in-law, Genara and Ambrosio Dela Roca, daughter and son-in-law, Florina and Mark Holguin, son and daughter-in-law, Josil and Arlene Turallo, son and daughter-in-law, Emmanuel and Virginia Turallo, daughter, Marites Turallo-Edwards, daughter and son-in-law, Berna and Paul Peralta, son and daughter-in-law, Silverio Jr. and Imelda Turallo, 36 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, brothers: Jose, Teofilo and Posferio Ibarreta, and 1 sister, Honoria Bauso. Paz dedicated her whole life as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and compassionate, hardworking, healthcare provider. She never let anything get in her way when it came to her children. Through blood, sweat and tears, with strong will and determination, she instilled education to each and every one of her children, knowing that it is something that she can provide, which nobody can take away. She is the most selfless person I'll ever know. A more positive person never walked the Earth. You will be missed. Until we meet again. www.bakersfield.com/obits
