Lori, I only recently heard of your father's passing. He was very much loved and respected by his peers and Farmers Insurance to which he dedicated a lifetime career. May God bless you and your family. Barbara Natalia

Sorry to hear about Stet. I knew him over 35 years and enjoyed talking with him at community concert. He was a great guy and loved you girls.

If I close my eyes, I can see Stet attempting to back up that RV into his driveway, trying over and over again to get it just right, as Nita shouted instructions and words of encouragement. As a child, I had the privilege of being Stet's next-door neighbor. He and Nita were the absolute best; their seemingly unflappable tolerance of my brother and I and the never-ending stream of balls flying over their fence was truly remarkable. He will be missed!

Lori and Debbie,
I just want to say what a pleasurable/unique experience it's been knowing Stet. Pleasurable in that he always made me laugh with his amusing take on life and the people in it,unique in that i benefited from his knowledge and life experiences in a number of ways. Truely, a one of a kind.
I'll never forget, and will always cherish our trip to Michigan.Traveling the backroads trying to locate old homesteads and places of his childhood. Trying my best not to throttle him while we argued over which way to turn ( of course i'm sure he used great restraint in not doing the same thing to me.) His ceaseless teasing of the wait staff at various eateries. His razzing me on the golf course, (" Why the hell did you hit it over there, isn't the green that way"? ) All in all it was a fun trip and i'm grateful i was able to make it and allow Stet the opportunity to visit one last time.
I could go on and on. Needless to say, I am a better person for having known him and his family.
With all my love,
Keith Hall
