My Uncle Ray was always an inspiration to me. My father and my Uncle Ray were some of the best people to talk to for being a new comer to the mechanical world. I wouldn't be where i am now without the help and guidance of my uncle Ray and my father Rick Sr. I speak for my family Rickey Binger Jr, Angela Binger and Anabelle May Binger that we will miss big uncle Ray with all our love and offer our deepest condolences to the whole family, we love you all.

My Uncle Ray was a great man, someone I looked up to, and loved very much. He was also a great inspiration to me in the world of fishing. I will miss him very much, and I know with every cast and fish I catch, he will always be there with me. I am very proud to have been named after my Uncle Ray, and I will miss him more than any words can possibly express.

"Life is nothing, if not everything."

Barb and Raeann:

Women are like tea bags. One does not experience their true value until they are in hot water.

The unfortunate passing of Ray has and will continue to presents lots of opportunities of which you will experience the strength, warmth, smoothness, sweetness, richness and emptiness of the tea.

Remember I’m the a little teapot, nursery time song.

I’m a little teapot, short & stout.
Here is my handle, here is my spout.

When I get all steamed up, hear me shout.
Tip me over and pour me out.

As you ladies are now charged with the stewardship of your family. As a team you control the taste, and the rewards of the tea. If the pot starts to boil, reduce the heat (reduce the stress). Add water (love) if the pot becomes empty. When things get all steamed up (be heard, communicate effectively).

But remember, while preparing the tea to your liking; don’t forget to take the time to share with each other the memories of Ray.

I'm so very sorry, Ray was a wonderful person, he loved his family so much and he was a great friend. I would just like to share just one comforting thought with you all...It is found at Revelations 21:4&5 - And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither well mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. And the One seated on the throne said: "Look! I am making all things new." Also, he says:"Write, because these things are faithful and true.

What a wonderful & loving promise from our Heavenly Father! I love you all very much... Lana

Ray,

We shared so may first, as best friends/Best Men do. Your move onto Lexington started our adventures.

Learning to ride the Honda 55 that Fred bought on Carmel Street to the Honda 250CR's that we bought together. You could always ride better than me. But my purchase almost got me thrown out of the house.

Walking to Edison because Mr. Crow didn't want us riding his bus. The house of action at Rosewood & Shiela, the bowling alley, swiming in Donut Lake at Hart Park, Valley GM Diesel.

We shared so many many memories.

Bro, until I catch up with you in heaven, the value of our friendship will be keep in my heart.

Raymond
I wanted to share a few momories you left me with. From chaseing Rick and I down the street for lazing your bed with tacks @ age 11 to the scrubbing soap covered cars you didn't soap while all the time saying you would get even.To climbing the Kafy radio towers,to the fishing outings with you and Fred,to the pool parties and BBQ's,and just hanging out with you and your family watching football, boxing, and most of all I really will miss just being able to talk with you. Raymond you were one of the best freinds one could ever ask for. I will, as everyone else will, Miss you so much.

As a child I remember always looking forward to hearing the stories from Dad of his adventures with Uncle Ray while they were growing up. As an adult I look back and think of the miracles Betty and Grandma Maples must have counted that they were kept safe.

I am thankful for the memories I treasure of my Uncle Ray and am praying for you all.

Love,

Raymond

He never looked for praises
He was never one to boast
He just went on quietly working
For those he loved the most

His dreams were seldom spoken
His wants were very few

And most of the time his worries
Went unspoken, too

He was there as a firm foundation
Through all our storms of life

A steady hand to hold to
In times of stress and strife

A true friend we could turn to
When times were good or bad

One of our greatest blessings
The man that we called Ray.

My first memories of Uncle Ray came from as far back as I am able to remember and are always associated with a story of him and Daddy braving a great adventure back in the good 'ol days. Many times I can remember laughing until I cried over the outcomes of their adventures and am constantly in awe of how many friends and associates they have had over the years that are able to bear witness to such bravery and courage...and sheer craziness that came from enjoying the ride.

I am grateful for the friends he and Aunt Barbara have been to my parents over the years for the lasting influence that their eternal friendship has had in my life. I know that Uncle Ray is in heaven watching over us and will guard us times of trouble and rejoice with us in times of sweet peace.

You have fought the good fight Uncle Ray...I am so priviledged to have your sweet memories that I will always cherish.

With Love,

Words cannot begin to express how grateful I am to have known Uncle Ray, what a wonderful man he will always be! I loved growing up hearing the stories of Daddy and Uncle Ray being the best of friends and running around with Uncle Brian, Uncle Bruce, and Billy...such a sweet friendship that has influenced all of our (the second generation) lives - trust me, we were never able to get away with anything at Foothill as kids because of the Binger/Maples reputation :)

Thank you Uncle Ray...for supporting me through the years and for the many stories that will be passed on to my children about the amazing adventures of Tim and Ray (and the tattoos they have to prove it!).

Rest now...I'll see you with the morning.

Love, Melisa (Missy) Maples-Holloway (Tim and Marlia's #1)

I am so sorry that we all lost track of each other over the years. We spent so much time with the Binger family when we were kids, good times. We played hard, laughed hard sometimes on into the dark summer nights. We chased lightning bugs, and fought the imaginary bad guys. I remember that beautiful dog, Jim Dandy. Didn't he belong the the Bingers? I don't know so many relatives. Anyway, I am sorry for your loss and will pray for all of you.
