Raymond (Ray) Gill 1926 - 2012 Ray was born to John and Mabel Gill in Merchantsville, NJ on June 29, 1926 and passed away on December 19, 2012 in Bakersfield, CA. When he was 12 years old his family moved to the Canal Zone, Panama. There he met and married the love of his life, Pat Kuller. In 1951 they moved to California where they raised three children, Lynn (Gary) Rose, Tricia (Pat) Bergin, and Scott (Marcia) Gill. He was predeceased by son, Scott; and sisters, Mildred Meraviglia and Dorothy Bernhardt. Survivors include wife, Pat; both daughters and husbands; grandchildren, Chad (Desiree) Casper, Marissa Casper, Brett Bergin, Matt (Danica) Bergin, Kaitlyn Higgins, Lauren Gill; and great grandchildren, Cole and Hannah Casper. He is also survived by brother, John Gill, and sister, Nancy Gutheridge. Ray served in WWII as a Navy Seaman aboard the USS Ludlow. He retired from Occidental Petroleum. Ray loved playing golf, gardening and their trailer at Pismo. He was a loyal husband, a beloved father, Pop Pop, and great Pop Pop to his family and will be greatly missed by all. There will be a private Celebration of Life for family only, per his wishes.
