Rebecca Rae Ruiz Obituary
On Sunday, November 7th, Rebecca Rae Ruiz passed peacefully at her residence in Desert Hot Springs, CA. Becky was born on April 18th 1952 in Ventura, CA. She attended Palm Springs High School where she made lifelong friendships.
Becky loved to travel. For a long while she lived in Fresno, CA where more, then lifelong friendships were forged. By a leap of faith, Becky, along with her family, moved to Bakersfield where she worked diligently for the state. Becky was an accomplished mechanic but in her eyes, her son William was her greatest accomplishment and pride and joy.
Becky was a great Mother and a wonderful woman. She was always doing for others and helping where she could. Her giving and selfless nature was truly a blessing to all who knew her. Her heart, soul, and door were always open to those in need, along with a listening ear and shoulder to lean on. Becky was the ultimate mother, grandmother, confidant and friend. Vibrant, funny and compassionate, Becky was a rare gem, not to those who just loved or knew her, but to those around her. Becky loved her family and friends to no end.
Rebecca's love, generosity, loyalty and strength will forever be undying and will continue to live on through her family and friends.
Becky is survived by her son, William Thomas Ruiz of Oceanside, her father Owen Collins of Idaho and two grandchildren, Mikayla Roxanne Ruiz and Nathaniel Zayne Ruiz.
