Dr. Little was born in Bakersfield, CA. Where he resided for 51 years following retirement and relocated to Bozeman, MT. Richard passed away in the care of the Swedish Swiss Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Richard was preceded in death by his; father Richard W Little, mother Norma Lee Sceales Little. He is survived by his adoring wife of 54 years Donna Lee Stambook Little of Bozeman, children Kevin Little of Paso Robles, Desiree Albertsen of Clovis, and Leah Little of San Diego. Richard leaves his six wonderful grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His love for his wife, children and grandchildren was without measure. Richard will always be remembered as a man of great faith, honesty, always encouraging the youth and college age to never give up on their dreams.
Richard is a graduate of Bakersfield High, Bakersfield College, University of Oregon La Sierra College, Loma Linda University of Dentistry class of 1969, Cal State Mastering in Business Administration, and Deputy Coroner in Kern County State of California as well as Deputy Coroner in Montana. Richard volunteered medical dental work in Africa, Guatemala, Mexico, and the Navajo Reservation. His love of dentistry and serving the patients was a true reward of his dental career.
After retirement his passion was writing historical religious literature. The fruits of his labor are yet to be seen on this earth. Richard's life was one with dedication to all. He was inspired to help others, giving a loving example to search with all of your heart to find peace, harmony, joy, and continue our walk with our Lord and Savior.
Memorial Service Sunday August 3, 2014, 2:00Pm Bakersfield Central SDA Church at 4201 Wilson Rd. Bakersfield, CA. 93309. Reception for sharing memories following service. Our family give thanks for the love and prayers given by many.
