Robert Ringele Ahlberg September 26, 1951 - February 18, 2012 A chapel service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., for Robert Ringele Ahlberg, 60. Mr. Ahlberg had a love for the outdoors, and bass fishing was one of his favorite hobbies. He grew up camping and fishing at many Kern County lakes: Lake Ming, Lake Isabella, and Lake Buena Vista. He loved all sports related to Bakersfield High School "Drillers," softball and football being his favorites. He kept score and stats. Mr. Ahlberg was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Pat Ahlberg. Survivors include close friends, Brian and Victoria Whitford of Selma, CA; cousins, Billy and Lora Ahlberg and their children, Wesley, Owen, Micaela, and Evelyn, all of Selma; cousin, Douglas and Trina Ahlberg and their son, Ethan of Oregon; and uncle, Gene and wife, Claudia of Fowler, CA.
