Robert Rodolfo Tafoya Obituary
In Loving Memory of Robert Rodolfo Tafoya August 8, 1950 - March 11, 2013 He was born August 8, 1950 in Santa Rita, New Mexico. Robert grew up in Oracle, Arizona. He was very proud to have served in the U.S. Navy for four years, just as his father had done. He lived in Bakersfield, CA for many years but always made sure to visit and keep in touch with all of his family and friends that were spread across different states. He loved to run marathons, hunt, and travel to share good times with good people. He spent his final days in Round Mountain, NV where he worked for Kinross gold mine. We will always remember him as a great man who was kind, generous, and the life of the party. He is survived by his siblings, Alice, Paul, Joe, and a long list of family and friends. Robert was considered a Good Samaritan, and for that he is a hero to us all. A memorial potluck for Robert will be held on Saturday, May 18, 3:30 p.m., at Jastro Park. Come share your photos and memories of Robert with family and friends. Contact Vickie at (661) 342-8153 for more information. www.bakersfield.com/obits
