Roger D. Matzke Obituary
Another year with out you but it feels like you just left. Connor will start high school. He has gotten so tall, he sure does look alot like you. Whatever sport he played, he was good and was able to keep his grades high. He will play football at Liberty and be coached by his dad. I can hardly wait for the season to start. Father & son on the field- Viejo you are supposed to be here.
Sophia is also tall, she is so pretty. She played several sports and enjoys it all, still kept her grades high too. Her dad coached her in softball, she really loved it. Sophia is a dancer now, a really awesome one. She got to do a solo and I swear Roger, she was perfect. She will be in the 7th grade.
Kate played school sports, no stopping her. She is a pretty cool 3rd grader. She is also in dance. She has the moves. Always practicing even when she doesn't need to. She made her First Communion this year. She is going to play soccer soon. Sophia & Kate have accomplished so much in dance, they made it all the way to the Nationals. I know you are proud of our grandchildren. They sure are a great gift from God.
Jill is always on the go. Being a dance mom is a job-don't think she will ever slow down. She got all the painting done at the office. She definitely knows colors. She finished their home too.
Our son is busy keeping work going despite the oil industry slowing down. He works hard everyday. I know you are proud of him.
We celebrate 30 years in the oil patch yesterday and it all started with your dream of determination. We thank you. We are blessed. Peggy is still working in her yard and teaching. Dennis and Michelle got a houseboat. They are really enjoying it. We miss & love you.
Love
Ruby, J, Jill, Connor, Kate, Sophia
