Roy Oscar Hablitzel June 21, 1924 - June 2, 2013 Roy died in Bakersfield, CA at the age of 88. He was born in Eustis, Neb. to Martin and Margarete. Served in the Army during WWII in Japan. When he returned to Nampa, Idaho he married Pearl Pinkston and raised four children. He married three more times after the loss of each (Genevieve Welch, Bette Tolson and Donnie Moran). He adored each wife and enjoyed traveling with them in his motor homes. His dedication to the service of the Lord in the Nazarene Church was a life-long passion. He served in various positions and locations (Nampa, Idaho; Roseville, Bakersfield, and San Diego, CA). He worked for the Pacific Fruit Express Railroad as a refrigeration repairman. He was preceded in death by his parents; wives; brothers Adolf, Fritz, Paul and Edwin; sisters Minnie, Emma and Irene. He is survived by his sister, Bertha Younglund of Nebraska; children Leroy of Bakersfield, Rose Chapman of Bakersfield, Jerry of Florida, and Joyce Downing of Florida; 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. A memorial service will be held at the Olive Knolls Nazarene Church on Saturday, June 29th, at 2:00 p.m. www.bakersfield.com/obits
