Obituary

October skies; the orange sunset;
the crisp leaves landing, softly.
Like stiff brown feathers,
gently falling.
Winter mornings, sun shining through the trees.
Fresh snow, no tracks, just
crunching beneath your feet.
Spring with morning dew,
flowers all around you.
Petals falling, bees are buzzing, and the birds chirping in the trees.
Summer days - no worries.
Summer nights - all stories,
but autumn's coming
soon we'll have an October sunset.
