Stacy Lynn Griffin Obituary
Stacy Lynn Griffin passed away peacefully at home with her husband, children and loved ones surrounded by her side on November 30, 2015 at the age of 46. Stacy was born in Roundup, Montana on August 1, 1969. She moved to Bakersfield as a young girl and attended local schools and graduated from East Bakersfield High School in 1988. She married her high school sweetheart, Jeff Griffin, in 1996 and together they created a great life. They had two amazing children that were the apple of her eye, Zachary Scott, 16 and Saydey Grace, 11. Stacy always had a caring and giving heart and loved to do for others which lead her to a job in the medical field where she worked as a Dialysis Technician for 20 years. Stacy had an infectious personality and she loved to razz and tease. If you knew her well you were likely a victim of her playful ways and on the receiving end of her sweet mischievous side. Stacy loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was incredibly creative and her attention to detail was impeccable. Stacy loved her nieces and nephews with all of her heart and let it be known that SHE was THE favorite Aunt. There was nothing in the world that compared to her role as Mom. She was always involved in every aspect of Zach and Saydey's lives. Nothing brought her greater joy than sitting in the stands and watching her kids "play ball." She is and always will be their biggest fan. Everyone who knew her felt her warmth and friendship. Stacy did not know a stranger and she will be forever missed. Stacy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Roma and Wink of Roundup, MT. She leaves behind to cherish her memory husband, Jeff; children, Zachary and Saydey; parents, Roma Jean and Jeff Baird; parents, Ken and Joan Minnie of Roundup, MT; father and mother in law, Clyde and Patty Griffin; Brother, Keith Minnie and wife Theresa; nephews, Daniel, Josh, and Noah of Oceanside, Ca; sister, Kathy Joseph and husband Jeff, nieces, Kortney, McKenzie, and Kendel; brother, Jamie Minnie and wife Stacy, nephews, Garrett, Coby, and niece, Logan; brother, Scott Minnie and wife Jamie, niece Avery of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Mark Minnie and wife Ashley, and coming soon nephew/niece Maddox and Makenna and sister, Kim Rupert and husband Scott of Seattle, WA.
