Steven Choate

10/16/1961 - 11/26/2014 Obituary
The world lost a loving, compassionate and gentle soul on November 26, 2014. Steven Walter Choate died peacefully in Rochester, New York 9 days after marrying his partner of 29 years.
Steve is survived by his husband, Jim Prindle; his mother Maryjane Choate; a gang of sisters who loved him very much -Mary Hibdon (Michael), Jayne Choate, Debbie Wulff (Bill), and Joan Feleay (Steve); a gaggle of nieces and nephews; and a plethora of great-nieces and great-nephews.
Steve's father Willard Choate, sister Cynthia Davis, and brother Bill Choate preceded him in death.Steve loved his dog Jack, cooking, singing oldies but goodies at the top of his lungs and the Shakira dance. He loved his long-time friends Diane, Mary, Nick, Kelly, Teri and Glenda. Steve loved a good laugh, a quick wit, good music, a snowy morning at home, a doe and her fawn on the front lawn, a red cardinal at the feeder, and a squirrel among the tree branches. He loved shopping at Wegman's and LL Bean clothes. He loved his nieces and nephews with all his heart. Most of all, Steve loved to make people happy.
