I just heard about Stewart passing away and I am very saddened by this news. Stewart was one of the sweetest guys I ever met and we were in contact occasionally over the years. His family and friends are in my thoughts.

Stewart, it warms my heart to know everyone felt the same way about you as I did. I only knew you for a bit over six years, but that was long enough for you to become one of my dearest friends; you were my brother, Stewart. The floodgates are open so i need to lighten this up: i promise to go camping more, and I'll even make a list of what to bring. I'll be more adventurous in the kitchen, you will be proud! I will appreciate more of the little things in life, hell, i may even pick up book - think I'll start with Dan Brown, i know you would approve. Hope you and stingy are making up for lost time, and that you are sippin all the bloody marys you can stand. I'll see you in about 50 years, give or take. Love, your little brother, Chase.

In the years we worked together you made a difficult job fun. It was such an honor to have known you and to see the others who have spoken so highly of you. It was hard to hear you have left us here but I know you're in a much better place. I will miss your laugh and your kind ear when I was having a rough day. You were a good friend. My deepest sympathies to you Bill. I know it is such a shock to you, to us all. I only met Stewart a few times, but I well remember them all. I've never met a more outgoing and intense man than Stewart. He will be greatly missed by all.

The 10 years I spent with Stewart as my partner were to short and they were the best 10 years of my life. The fact that Stewart chose me as his partner makes me feel honored and blessed. He was truly a good man through and through and treated me with a deep love from his deep and beautiful heart. For this I will always be greatful beyond what words can say.

Stewart had no idea how many people he touch and care about him. I personaly will miss seeing him in every tomato season and my girls that had a chance of working with him as wieght masters will miss him too. He will always be in our harts Thank you Stewart for being yourself. You will be miss.

Stewart, It's hard to believe that you are gone. We had such good times: the camping trips to the beach, King's Canyon, and Tehachapi; the "Family" gatherings and holidays at each others' houses; the pool parties and birthdays. I will never forget the first day I met you and the friendship that followed. You were the reason we moved here. I will never forget you.

This isn't the way it was supposed to be. I thought you'd be spiking my geritol when I was in the nursing home or pulling some other kind of prank. You were a truly unique individual. You never lost the curiosity and wonder of a little boy. Everything interested you. You gave your full attention to everything and everyone you came into contact with. I'm going to miss the barbeques and times just sitting and talking. You made a huge difference in my life. Listening to your advice led me down a path that has made me a truly happy man. I was extremely fortunate to count you as my friend. I will never forget.

Stewart, its hard to believe that you are gone. I miss my friend and think about the good times we had: the camping trips to the beach, King's Canyon, and Tehachapi; the "famliy" get togethers at each others' houses; the holidays and being around all our friends. Stewart: You will be sooo missed. It's hard to believe your not with us. I enjoyed tomato season, working with you and even more, embarrasing you by putting up signs all over the plant on your birthday!! Oh, and especially the disco ball to end the season.
