Her faithful husband preceded her in death on May 8, 1996. Tennie accepted Christ at an early age under the denomination of the Church of Christ. She has been faithful member of the Church of Christ in Tennessee and California. Her last membership was at the California Avenue Church of Christ, in Bakersfield, CA, under the Minister Bro. Isaac Sandifer Jr., until she took ill. Tennie loved performing her Christian duties as a Minister's wife and shared with many others. Her presence among us will be greatly missed.
