Teri Lynn Neff Obituary
Teri was born on March 31, 1965 to Ronald and Winnie Neff and passed away suddenly on February 24, 2014.
Teri was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. Teri had a love for animals; growing up she was involved in 4H and showed her livestock at the Kern County Fair. She loved dogs and was known for taking home any stray she came upon. Teri also, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, water skiing, and on family vacations. Teri graduated from North High School in 1983 and continued her education at the University of Phoenix to become a paralegal. While attending North High School she was varsity cheer leader and played varsity basketball and softball. Teri also modeled part-time and graced the cover of R. C. Modeler.
Teri's pride and joy were her two sons Zack and Brock; she enjoyed the times she spent with them at family gatherings, and outings. In the past year Teri had taken up sketching again, winning the Bakersfield Art Association Amateur Artist Award at the 2013 Kern County Fair.
Teri was preceded in death by her grandparents Samuel and Hattie Neff and Bill and Ruth Farley. Teri is survived by her sons Zack England and Brock Neff, parents Ron and Winnie Neff, sister and brother-in-law Shannon and Jeff Richardson, nephews Aaryn Richardson, Brandon Richardson and Blair Richardson and niece Hailey Richardson, her Aunt Fonda Masterson and Cousins Travis Masterson and Brandi Masterson.
Teri will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery on River Blvd. at 10:00 A.M. on March 7, 2014
