Thelma Lucy Wood Howard Eddings 1928 - 2012 Thelma Lucy Wood Howard Eddings, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at home on August 12, 2012 at the age of 83. She was born in Oklahoma on December 10, 1928. She was predeceased by daughter Lucy Howard and Thelma's first husband William Howard and second husband Jack Eddings Thelma is survived by son George Howard and daughter Betty James; six grandchildren, Drenda (Dan) Provence, Marte (Raymond) Stanley, Herbert (Kelly) James, Russell (Shelly) James, Dewayne Howard and Angie (Scott) Tetzlaff; and 11 great-grandchildren and a special great-grandson Codee James who came to stay and visit with a couple of old ladies. She had the pleasure of extending her family when she married Jack Eddings. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00pm. Chapel services will be Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 10:00am at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Rd., Bakersfield, California. www.bakersfield.com/obits
