Theresa McDanel Obituary
Theresa (Terri) McDanel September 11, 1925 - December 7, 2013 Terri was born to John and Suzanne Bambusch in North Dakota. Welcoming Terri to her heavenly home are her parents and siblings Ernest, Madge, Joe, Freddie, John, Irene, an infant brother, and her dear husband Elden who all preceded her in death. Terri is survived by her loving sister Mary June Jalbert of Dickinson, North Dakota. Terri married the love of her life Elden McDanel in 1971. Terri and Elden shared a love for each other that was deeply rooted in their Christian faith. After graduating high school in1943 she worked for Pacific Bell as a telephone operator. She moved from North Dakota to Eugene, Oregon and was transferred to Bakersfield where she worked until she retired in 1977. Terri was a mother figure to many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. She made many a birthday or Christmas better by her thoughtful cards and gifts. Terri and Elden lived out their golden years at the First Assembly of God's Manor residence where they had many friends. They both enjoyed volunteering for their church and offered prayers for all they came in contact with. In 2007 Terri and Elden retired to Glenwood Gardens where they lived a lifestyle surrounded by caring compassionate people in a beautiful setting. Terri's life was committed to sharing the love and salvation of Jesus. She cared for everyone. She is deeply missed and loving prayers are offered for her happiness in her heavenly home.
