Tristan Charles Riaño Obituary
Tristan Charles Riaño died tragically in a vehicular accident on February 27, 2015. Tristan was 31 years old and was married to the love of his life, Amanda. Together, they had a beautiful daughter, Sophia, and a handsome son, Matthias. He was a loving father and husband. Sophia and "Buddy" were his world.
Tristan was the son of Thelma L. and Carlos M. Riaño, both of Bakersfield, California. Tristan also leaves behind a brother, Michael L. Riaño, two sisters, Tisha A. Borda and Elizabeth K. George, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Tristan was born and raised in Bakersfield. He attended Highland High School. He loved sporting events, including cycling and college football, particularly his beloved Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Go Irish! His last job was at Domino Plastics, where he enjoyed working for 7 years as a production supervisor.
Tristan had an easy, friendly attitude that endeared many people to him. He was well respected by all who came in contact with him. He had concern and an open heart for everyone.
Tristan found comfort in the words found at Revelation 21:4, as his family does as well: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
A memorial service is being held Friday March 6, at 15801 Marty Avenue, Bakersfield, CA at 4:00 pm. The family also invites friends and relatives to come by 5809 Blazing Star on Saturday, March 7, from 12-3 pm as we celebrate Tristan's memory. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to .
