Viola Estrada Arechiga September 21, 1923 - January 17, 2013 IN LOVING MEMORY Born in Taylor, Texas and raised in Bakersfield, Viola was one of fourteen children to parents, Margarito Estrada, and Ponciana Trevino Estrada. Preceded in death by her husband and partner in life, Andres Avina Arechiga, together they raised their children while operating their bakery, La National Panaderia Mexicana, and East Bakersfield family run markets, Andrew's Market and Miller Street Market. Viola, was in every sense of the word a compliment to her husband, their business ventures and raising their family of four children. Mother to Margaret Arechiga, Diane Arechiga, Hope Kirk and son Andrew Estrada Arechiga and daughter -in-law Victoria, one surviving stepdaughter, Conception Arechiga Alonza of Los Angeles; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Surviving siblings include Linda Torres, Ida Murrillo, Rosalinda Cortez, and brother, Don Estrada, all of Bakersfield. Visitation from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, January 24th, at Basham Funeral Care, 3312 Niles Street, Bakersfield, CA.
