Wayne Edmon Walker September 23, 1934 - April 11, 2012 Wayne was born on September 23, 1934, in Milburn, Oklahoma. Our "Fine Country Gentleman" went to walk with the Lord on April 11, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Johnnie Faye; daughter, Karen; and grandson, Sean. Wayne and Faye raised their family in Johnsondale, CA, where he worked in the saw mills for 25 years. They made Bakersfield their home in the mid-1970s and then worked as a welder for 15 years. Wayne is survived by his children, Linda (James), Kenny (Fran), and Mike; grandchildren, Crystal, Ashley (Aaron), Casey (Kim), Rebecca, Nicole (Manuel), Sara (Tony), and Ryan; and numerous great-grandchildren and friends. We will miss you, Papa!! Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane.
