William Paul Boles Obituary
William Paul Boles was born Feb. 4, 1930, to Iva and Edward Boles in Marion, Illinois. He was preceded in death by sister Margaret Bookout, younger sister Beatrice Castleberry resides in Las Vegas, Nv. Paul enlisted in the USMC at the tender age of 16 in 1946 where he served as a machine gunner. He was recalled for service in the Korean war and sent to the battle of the Chosin reservoir. Paul was twice wounded in combat and awarded two purple hearts. In 1949, he married Edna Clark and started his family with first a daughter Pam Weimer, husband Gerald, daughter Terry Keaveny, husband Dan and son Tim. Sadly Edna passed in 1979. Paul and Apaula Sims were married adding two more children to his family tree. Paul and Becky Procsal and Jo Dee Procsal. B & B Plumbing/Mechanical Contracting a business that was shared by partner and friend Glenn Brown led them both on a life long adventure. Paul achieved a many great things that brought him pleasure, piloting his own Beech craft, building a cabin, lounging at the beach house, backpacking for Elk and Bear in Idaho and the continual frustration and challenge of Golf. Our husband, father and grandfather to 10, was an American Hero. Being a Great Grandfather to 5 he was a man who live a courageous life to the end with a can do will do attitude. You will be missed.
Graveside service will be held at the National Cemetery, December 30th, promptly at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Wounded Warriors.
