Wilma Maxine (Micki) Ross Obituary

Wilma Maxine Ross (Micki)
July 26, 1948- September 11, 2018

She fought the battle- Micki was diagnosed with dementia 7 years ago, She never gave up. She never complained, maintaining a brave and cheerful outlook of an optimistic future - even through declining stages, she continued to smile and laugh as much as possible.

She went to be with the Lord on Sept 11, 2018, she was 70yrs old.

It's hard to find the words to describe the most beautiful, Daughter, Mother, Wife, and Grandmother that God so graciously blessed us with.

Micki was this beautiful vibrant, soft-spoken- prayer warrior. The love she had for her family was un-measurable, She led by example- As a wife, she loved Bill like no other, he was her Best Friend, their marriage was admired by so many. They were the epitome of what a Marriage should be, loving -respectful- trusting. They shared 54yrs of a beautiful life together.

She was born to Homer and Lucina White, on July 26, 1948, and attended Arvin High School.

On Sept 11, 1964, Micki married Bill Ross, and they started a family soon after. They lived in Bakersfield, Ca and raised two children, Billy, and Michael Ross.

She was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and was excited to become a "Grandma " to her 2 grandchildren Krista and Billy and doubly blessed to be Great Grandma to Brielle and Halstynn. No matter how old or big they got they were all her babies. Micki's destiny in life was to be Wife and Mom and she did it well.

She loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. She will be missed deeply.

Micki is survived by her husband Bill Ross, Son Billy Ross Jr and Daughter-in-law Kandy, Son Michael Ross, Granddaughter Krista, and husband Ryan Espinoza and Grandson Billy Ross III and wife Arlena Ross, and Great Granddaughters Brielle and Halstynn Ross. Brother Bobby and wife Grace White, Donald and wife Rella White. Special family- Doris and William Duford, Linda Jeffers and Howard Ross She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Homer and Lucina White, sister Louise Mace, brothers Wesley, Henry and Delbert.

We want to thank the Hospice Staff for their care.

She was loved by so many... Rest in peace our beautiful angel.
