Suzanne Friesen Obituary
Suzanne Friesen was born in Bakersfield, CA on February 6, 1958 to Franklyn Glenn Hart and Mary Margaret (Ramey) Hart, and passed away August 19, 2016 in Bakersfield, CA. She was married to Donald Friesen of Bakersfield, CA in 1976, and they would have celebrated their 40th year of marriage in September. Suzy graduated from West High School in 1976. Suzy was instrumental in running the office of Grapery, a local agricultural company, for the last 14 years. As an active member of Laurelglen Bible Church, she mentored women through MOPS, guided children and staff with Sunday School classes, and volunteered behind the scenes through many other ministries. Suzy is survived by her husband Donald, daughters Lindsay (husband Liam) and Whitney, sister Kathleen, many nieces, nephews, loved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Garrett.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016, 11:00 am, at Laurelglen Bible Church, 2801 Ashe Road in Bakersfield, CA.

Susie was a beautiful and gentle women I had the pleasure of serving with in children's ministry. Her smile lit up a room and my heart. So sorry for the pain the family is experiencing at this time. May God give you all the peace and comfort you need most now.

I know that there are no words that I can say that will bring peace at a time like this.
Please know that I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that Suzie's family, and all that knew and loved her, will feel the comfort, peace, and strength, that only God can give.
Suzie has left a great legacy, and she will live on in the hearts and lives of many of us that had the pleasure of knowing her.

I wish there was something we could say to take the pain away. But what we can do is cling to the promise God has given us..we will see her again! What a legacy she has left behind. My heart is broken.....I always counted Suzy as my best friend and I am so glad we reconnected thru Facebook. We were pregnant together and she taught Aerobic classes for me at First Assembly of God. We had so much fun together. I will always have a special place in my heart for Suzy.
