Joyce Neal Quary Henderson 1949 - 2012 Joyce Neal Quary Henderson fought ALS with determination and heart. Her long journey as a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend ended on May 13, 2012, Mother's Day. She was at home with her family when her beautiful spirit left this world to join her father, mother and other loved ones. Joyce was born on February 18, 1949 in Taft, California to Guy and Patsy Quary. She was raised in Buttonwillow, CA with her brother, Larry for most of her childhood, living as a farmer's daughter. Joyce has spent parts of her life in Bakersfield, Santa Maria and Poway Ca., and briefly in Lilburn, Ga. She also had a love for traveling, she has been to Italy, France, England Hawaii and Mexico. Joyce was beautiful inside and out, and had a loving spirit. She touched the lives of everyone she met and was happiest when she was surrounded by her kids and grandchildren. Her greatest joy came through helping people and animals. She had a great love and appreciation for animals and seemed to connect with them. Joyce was on a spiritual journey and became a fearless living life coach. She was and is a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her memories will forever fill our hearts. She leaves very sad family members and friends who will miss her presence dearly and her love for life.
