Evan Robert Bridwell (AKA K.C. Adams) March 16, 1953 - September 9, 2012 Evan Robert Bridwell (AKA K.C. Adams) born on March 16, 1953, passed away on September 9, 2012 in Bakersfield, California. He was 59 years old. He was preceded in death by his brother Loren Alan Bridwell, his son Jason Alan Bridwell, his father Paul Jackson Bridwell Jr, and his mother Margaret M. Bridwell. He leaves behind two daughters; Lauren Reigh Bundy and her husband Daniel and their three children Alina, Madison and Caleb. Tara Leigh Diane Arthur and her husband Jon and their son Xander. And two step sons that he raised as young boys, Jerry and Joseph Bundy, their spouses Miranda and Joyce and their children Vanessa, Melanie, Michael, Joseph Jr., Melissa and Austin. He graduated from Rosemead High School in 1971. He was employed by KUZZ Radio from 1983 to 2011. He began his radio career in Arizona in 1974 and made several career stops on California's central coast and in Fresno, before coming to KUZZ in 1983. He became the program director of KUZZ in 1986. He was a respected member of the national country music community sharing his knowledge at the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville as moderator and panelist on numerous occasions. He was voted the Billboard and Gavin Program Director of the Year three times and was a member of the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association. Evan played an important role in the music careers of many country artists. He was very respected by his peers and will forever live on in the country music industry. Evan was a serious civil war enthusiast, partly because his family tree included several civil war soldiers. He participated in many civil war reenactments at Fort Tejon Historical Park and was the founder of the 3rd Georgia Infantry which still lives on today. Evan was a true Dodger Fan, I mean huge!!! He loved the boys in blue. Evan's final resting place will be in Alabama, near his surviving children and grandchildren. At Evan's request there will be no funeral service.
