Louise Merle Anderson May 19, 1924 ~ February 18, 2013 Louise Merle Anderson, 88, passed away after her battle with cancer, with her family by her side, on February 18, 2013. Louise was born on May 19, 1924, to Walter and Georgia Lambert in Coalinga, CA. She and her younger sister, Thelma, grew up in Lemoore, CA, and spent their teenage years at their ranch in Kingman, AZ. As a young woman during WWII, Louise met Kenny Anderson at a USO dance; and they were married on April 1, 1946. Kenny had eight brothers and sisters. She loved having a large family. Her daughter, Carol, was born in 1947, and son, Frank, was born in 1948. Louise was a devoted and loving mother and dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Kenny passed away in 1977, and Louise moved to Bakersfield to be near her daughter. She was employed as a medical records clerk at Kern Medical Center for 14 years until she retired at the age of 64. After her retirement, she was able to enjoy traveling with her friends to Europe, Hawaii, Canada, and most of the United States. Louise is survived by her daughter, Carol Cousineau and husband, Gary; along with their daughter, Laurie Dunham and her sons, Wyatt and Riley; Carol's son, David and wife, Sharon and their son, Cole; son, Frank Anderson and wife, Kay; along with their daughter, Cindy and husband, Chris; and their children, Rebecca and Jordan; Frank's son, Brian and wife, Nicole; and their children, Brandon and Kaitlyn. A chapel service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Celebration of Life Center, 2739 Panama Lane. A private interment will take place at Fresno Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hoffmann Hospice.
