Bruce Leland Cameron Jr. "Big Base" January 22, 1975 - March 17, 2013 Bruce Leland Cameron Jr. was born on January 22, 1975 in San Jose, California to Bruce Sr. and Alice Cameron. He was preceded in death by his father Bruce and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Bruce is survived by his mother Alice Cameron, his children Kobee, Passion, Serena and Cameron and his sisters Jennifer, Jacqueline, and Kathryn. Bruce also is survived by his niece Erika and nephews Kevin and Brandon. Also mourning his passing is Kimberly Jones his fiance and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Bruce attended Pauly Elementary, Emerson Jr. High, and South High. Bruce considered himself a Rebel for life. He graduated class of 1993. In 2004 he graduated from barber college and went on to open his barber shop "R-Spot" in 2008. Bruce loved his children more than anything and was an outstanding father. He could often be found on the sideline of his sons football game coaching basketball, at father-daughter dances and school activities. Bruce was also a loyal friend to many and could make everyone feel special. He made many life long friends. his smile could light up any room and his presence could make people feel better. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Bruce never passed judgment on anyone and he had a heart of gold. Bruce was loved by all that knew him and will be truly missed. Visitation will be Wednesday March 27th from 4pm to 7pm at Greenlawn Southwest, 2937 Panama Lane. Funeral services will be Thursday march 28th at 11:00am at Higher Ground Church, 912 New Stine Rd.
