1980 - 2013 Obituary Condolences
Jordan Michelle Hance Obituary
Jordan Michelle Hance August 25, 1980 - April 19, 2013 Our dearest Jordan was born on August 25, 1980 and passed away on April 19, 2013. She was the eldest of three inseparable sisters. Jordan was the loving and caring mother of two incredibly wonderful children Hunter and Lauren Leary, ages nine and six. We are all broken hearted at the sudden loss of our precious Jordan. Even though she was beautiful on the outside she was even more beautiful on the inside. We miss her distinct laughter and her frequent "I love you" spoken to us all. For four joyous years, Jordan and her children enjoyed the love and companionship of her fiance and best friend Brandon Abbott, with his two sons Logan and Caden. Jordan attended Laurelglen, Tevis, Stockdale High, and Bakersfield College. She worked as an esthetician in Bakersfield and Tehachapi. Jordan was preceded in death by her Grandmother and Grandfather (Elsie and Mert Folkert). Jordan is survived by her children Hunter and Lauren, fiance Brandon Abbott, mother and stepfather Jeanne and Ron Hughes, father and stepmother Mark and Lisa Hance, sisters Erin Hudson (Danny) and Lindsay McDuffie (Canaan), stepbrother Patrick Frazier (Anna), stepsister Allison Frazier, grandparents Bill and Darlene Hance, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jordan was blessed to have a large extended family and many friends who loved her. It was amazing to see just how much one person could love her children. Jordan lived to protect and nurture Hunter and Lauren. They were her identity and passion. Jordan was such a joy to have in our presence, which is why it is so hard to let her go. Her smile was warming, her laughter contagious, and her hug unbelievably comforting. Like her mother and sisters, Jordan was an incredible cook - her cookies were addicting! Her favorite getaways with family and friends were the beach (Cayucos and Carpinteria), and the mountains (June Lake). We see her in our dreams, and feel her love in our hearts. When we visit these favorite places, Jordan and her wonderful laugh will forever be in our memories. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, April 25, 2013, Greenlawn Mortuary, 3700 River Blvd., Bakersfield, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorial bank accounts have been established at the Kern Schools Federal Credit Union in the names of Hunter Joseph Leary and Lauren Catherine Leary for college tuition. www.bakersfield.com/obits
