Jaime Raul Carrillo February 3, 1956 - May 16, 2013 Jaime Raul Carrillo was born in Tijuana, Mexico, to Reyes and Adolfo Carrillo. He lived in Sun Valley, CA, till 1989. He then spent the rest of his life in Bakersfield, CA. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 31 years, Rita Carrillo. Raul was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Raul was a hard worker who loved fishing, traveling, and was also a very dedicated Raiders fan. He had a big heart, was always willing to help others, and brought joy and laughter into the lives of those who knew him. His biggest joy was his sons and six grandchildren. He will be forever loved and missed. In addition to his lovely wife, Rita, he is also preceded in death by his parents, Reyes and Adolfo; sister, Josefina Ochoa; and nephew, Jerry Ochoa. He is survived by his sons, James and wife, Julissa, and David and Chris; grandchildren, Marissa, Priscilla, James (Gordos), Crystal, David (Bubba), and Vincent; his fiancee, Juanita; his brothers, Carlos and wife, Regla, Victor and wife, Maria, and Ruben and wife, Ofelia; his sister, Irma; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to give special thanks to our families and friends for their love and support, thoughts and prayers. Raul leaves behind a strong legacy of how to be a great, loving family member and friend. Visitation will be held today, Thursday, May 23, 2013, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary starting at 6:00 p.m., at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi, 900 H Street, with Father Mark officiating.
