David Lee Baldridge May 25, 1951 - Sept. 29, 2007 David Lee Baldridge, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on Saturday, September 29th, 2007. Dad was born in Bakersfield, California on May 25th, 1951. He graduated from North High in 1969, where he played linebacker for the Stars. As a young man, he enlisted in the Navy and served our Nation with pride during the Vietnam War. He served aboard the U.S.S. Gray, earning a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with One Bronze Star, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Dad enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as an electrician and administrator at CalTrans, where he had many friends and touched many lives. He was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Baldridge. Dave is survived by his wife, Nancy; his children, Daniel and Kate Baldridge; his brother, Larry Baldridge and wife Laurene; his sister, Lorna Fullerton and husband Gary; his sister, Doreen Eisenberg and husband Neil; his half-sister, Elizabeth Baldridge; his half-brother, Gordon Baldridge; and his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. During life, Dad's love and his fortitude kept us safe; he kept our lives centered and our paths true. May Dad's love, strength, and character continue to keep you and inspire you. We love you, Dad. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church in Fresno, California on Friday, October 5, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery (Panama Lane and Hwy. 99) in Bakersfield, California on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 10:30 a.m., preceded by a viewing from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send remembrances in Memory of David Baldridge to: The Animal Rescue of Fresno (ARF), 4545 E.
