Raymond Robert Depfer, Ray, passed away on May 2nd at 84 years old. He was born and passed away comfortably in the same house on Brick Hill in Baltimore, where he spent most of his life. He is predeceased by his parents, William Cooper and Rosa Gill Depfer, and his brother, George William Depfer. Ray was a decorated Private First Class in the US Army where he served in Korea. After serving, he was a proud Baltimore City Police Officer, then a master electrician and a plumber. A memorial service will be held May 20th, 6 PM, at his favorite diner, The Lunch Box, 1102 W. 36th St. Call Lex Davis with any questions, 443-927-6828. Ray was very proud of his home and his neighborhood and if asked how he was doing, he would say with a smirk, "It's tough being me."
