COSTANTINI , Peter A. On June 18, 2013, Peter A. Costantini; beloved husband of Margaret V. (nee Ercole) Costantini; loving father of Maria E. Schenning and husband Ted, and Regina M. Costantini; devoted grandfather of James, Zachary, Joshua, Annalisa, and Mason; loving brother of the late Mario Costantini, Dr. John Costantini, Marguerite DiNardi and Evelyn Dunmire; dear uncle of Shelly Cox and husband Ernie, Joe, Carl, John, and Carla Ercole, and the late Victor Maulone, and John, Elaine, Taffi, Candy and Robert Costantini, and loving great uncle of Gina and Julia Cox. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends. Peter A. Costantini served in the US Navy in the Korean War and upon his honorable discharge he moved to Maryland where he worked as a tool and dime man for Martin's. He had many successful ventures in his lifetime. Peter is best known as the owner and operator of Chev-Allure Hair Salon in Pikesville, MD, where he was the head hairstylist for 25 years. After leaving the hair industry, he began a successful career in Health Care Administration. He built Canton Harbor Nursing Center, where he was the owner and administrator. He has many former employees who admired his strong work ethic and genuine love of people.
Funeral Services will be held at the family owned Joseph N. Zannino Jr. Funeral Home, 263 S. Conkling St. (at Gough) on FRIDAY at 10AM. A funeral mass will follow at Our Lady Of Pompei Church at 11 AM. Entombment Oak Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on THURSDAY, 2-5 and 7-9 PM.
