Lance there is not a day your family does not think of you and miss you. I pray there is more after this life and all of us are one day reunited. Rest in Peace Lance... you are very missed.

January 3, 2011

Well this book is coming to a close and I have checked in periodically to read messages left for Lance and for the Lewinski family. I just want to leave a final message for the book.
To my sister and her family.. again there are no words for your loss but I pray this new year brings all of you a time of peace and comfort. A time to celebrate in the love and joy that Lance brought into your lives and that continues. As each new child is brought into your lives, just know a piece of Lance lives on in them. He may be out of sight, but he's never gone from your lives.
Love and Hugs to all of you.

Lance,
Words cannot express the sadness I feel since you've been gone. You will not be forgotten as you will always be in my heart.I will never forget the fun (and crazy) times we all had whether it was camping-making fires everywhere, or just hearing your beautiful voice when you sang. I feel very blessed to have you as a brother and I hope you know how big your heart is. You're just like Bobby..There wasn't a thing you wouldn't do for anyone. And you were always there him when he needed you. Always. There was never a time you didn't have that big ol' smile on your face and that's what I'm going to miss the most..,your smile. It was contagious. Do you remember that "space ship" cake I made for your birthday? You loved it even though it looked horrible! I would give anything to hear you sing or laugh one more time. or even your Napolian Dynamite impressions. And if I could give you a hug one more time I think I might be okay. But I know you are at peace now. I love you Lance~

Mitch and Family,

It doesn't get any tougher than this. I am sending you positve thoughts about your future as a family. May Lance bring you all closer together in experiencing the genuine love and appreaciation for each other. I know the wound is fresh, but we must heal, we must continue to live our lives to the fullest. Let your love flow freely. Have only POSITIVE thoughts about Lance, we know as he is looking down on you he does not want you to hurt, he wants most for you to win, grow, love and smile, always. Choose and excercise love and peace in honoring Lance's memory. May GOD bless you with a calm and abundant heart.

Our prayers are with your family during this time of sorrow. The memorial service last evening was very nice and a wonderful time to remember Lance. Lance will be missed by many and I hope he knows how much of an impact he made on many lives. He was always smiling and making everyone laugh.

Mark told me some stories last night about Lance at work and how he loved duct tape and any chance he had he would try to "fix" something with duct tape. Mark got to the truck to find his blower straps all duct taped. It was never a dull moment with Lance and he always made the work day interesting.

We loved Lance and I know many others did.

Prayers sent during this time!
Love,
Mark and Kelley Vollmer

Dawn, Mitch, Derek and Family,

Our heart-felt condolences are with you at this time of sorrow. Over the last several years, we've come to know Lance as a nice, polite kid whenever he came over to hang out with Brian. It was always a pleasure when he and our son jammed on their guitars in our basement. We will greatly miss Lance for his friendly attitude and laugh. You can be assured that he touched our lives in a positive way. We will not forget him.

Mitch, Dawn and Family,
We just wanted you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. Although words cannot fix the pain you feel, may you find comfort in knowing that you all are very dear to us.

With deepest sympathy,

Lance The Looper!
you were not perfect no one is..but you are my baby! You always will be. You know how much I loved you I told you almost everyday. We fought but we always made up. You know there was nothing I wouldnt do for you. I tried to help but it wasnt enough, you had to do the work and i guess you just werent that ready. I am not mad at you I know what was in your heart and on your mind...i understood. i just wish we had more time i know everything would have been ok...because you were trying and that is all that matters..your brother and sister are a mess, dad is falling apart.you were a very large part of this family you made us laugh, you made us cry..but most important you were yourself you brushed everything off. That takes a special kind of person which you were. Anyone who came in contact with you felt it, everyone says that about their child but i know it is true about you many people have told me!(and long before this happened i was told). Your heart was large, there is nothing you wouldnt do for your family and friends, getting you started was another thing.lol But, you always did what i asked of you! I will miss your cooking at 3am, miss more than that will be the sound of your guitar playing and singing! I could listen to you all day and sometimes i did..remember the night of 100 bands we had here at the house..that is a good memory.I will remember everything about you. the feel of your hug, the love you had and gave freely, your beautiful smile but mostly i will miss the sound of your laughter. Sweet dreams sweetheart I will miss you more than you will evr imagine. I will be with you again.
Love Always and Forever

Dawn, Mitch and Family
I know there are no words to comfort you right now. Please know though that my heart is with all of you during this terrible time of grief and sorrow. I do not know why this happened to Lance. I just know I am so very sorry and my heart breaks for all of you and what you must be going through.
Please also know that should any of you need anything, even just to talk, I am here. I can't fix anything for you, I can only offer "me" to listen and cry with. So please do not hesitate to pick up the phone and call and I can just listen or if possible I will drive to there.
My love and prayers to all of you.
Love Nancy
