Nell O. Jones

JONES , Nell O. NELL O. JONES died peacefully on November 6, 2007; beloved wife of Paul J. Jones who died in 2006. She leaves behind a large and loving family. Survivors include her children Ellen Walsh; Leila Jenkins and husband David; Mary Spence and husband Andrew; Nancy Stoll; Jane Stone and husband James; Betsy Phillips and husband Ron; Joseph Stoll and wife Lyn; George Stoll; John Stoll and wife Grace; her stepchildren, Marilyn Jones; Michael Jones and wife Jean; Robert Jones and wife Edna. She leaves behind 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her daughter Sally and her husband Jay who died in 1990, a stepson Lawrence Jones who died in 2004 and her first husband, Joseph A. Stoll, Jr. who died in 1955.
A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 7 to 9 at the family owned Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home, 6500 York Road (at Overbrook). A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 11 A.M. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 110 West Lafayette Avenue. Interment will take place at the New Cathedral Cemetery, 4300 Old Frederick Road immediately following the funeral mass. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Catholic Charities, 320 Cathedral St., Baltimore, MD 21201.
