I met Dr raffle at Oakwood country club when I was cooking there years ago. I also used to landscape his yard, and I would go over to wash his Mercedes in the garage period him and his wife were always so kind to me and I just realised, after 13 years that he has gone to heaven period Once in a lifetime, you meet such a beautiful man, peace to his entire family and friends

I am so sorry to hear the terrible news of Erv's passing -- just found out today (friday afternoon) and regret that I could not pay my respects in person. You and Erv have been such a help to me in Baltimore and I will always think fondly of both of you. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Bonnie - I just heard the news last night and I am devastated that I could not be there for you and the family. I will never be able to repay Erv's endless kindness to me. I will never forget when you took me to Penn State for the football game, the endless tailgates at Byrd, the numerous ACC Tournaments, and all of the recruiting conversations through the years. Your entire family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Erv's was a highly inteligent and generous man. His positive attitude and giving nature will surely be remembered for generations to come. This is truly a sad day for all who knew him.

I was saddened to hear of Erv's passing. He has been a friend and business acquaintance for over 10 years. Just had lunch with him last month and he spoke passionately about the Terps, getting away with the family this winter, and his grandchildren. He will be missed.
