Very sorry to hear about bob's death. I met him at a chess tournament 46 years ago and have many fond memories of playing pingpong, going bowling, hundreds of poker games , and of course countless games of chess.
The high holidays won't be the same.
Rest in peace.
Your good friend, Mark

I'm a chess player who knew Bob back in the 1970s and 80s. He always ran an excellent event and was one of the best tournament directors in the country. I'm sorry to hear of his passing and hope his friends and family have strength during this difficult time.
