Nancy G. Monmonier

MONMONIER , Nancy G. On August 7, 2012, Nancy G. Monmonier , of Wakefield, RI, formally of Baltimore MD, and Ocean City, MD, passed away after a long illness. Born Nancy Lee Goldsborough, she was the daughter of the late Richard D. and Ethel (Collins) Goldsborough. Nancy was a graduate of Mount Saint Agnes, and for 55 years was the beloved wife of the late J. Carroll Monmonier, III, who passed away in 2001. In 2002, Nancy moved to Wakefield, RI to be close to her granddaughter, and to enjoy with great delight her toddler twin great-grandsons. Nancy was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church of Assisi of Wakefield, RI, a communicant and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion at St. Luke's Parish of Ocean City Maryland and a communicant of St. Mark's Parish, Catonsville, Maryland. Nancy leaves her daughter Nanette Schweitzer and husband Eric of Ellicott City, MD; and son Joseph Monmonier, IV, of Venice, FL; grandchildren Tracey (Aquilla) Kehoe and her husband Christopher of Wakefield, RI, Joseph Monmonier V and his wife Kim of SC, Jason Monmonier and his wife Jamie of MD, Christina (Monmonier) Hewko and her husband Brian of New York and the late Michelle L. Aquilla; great grandchildren Joseph Schweitzer, Braedon and Connor Kehoe, Ava and Caroline Monmonier; her brother, Richard D. Goldsborough, predeceased her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday August 11, 2012 at 10 AM, St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, Maryland on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 11 AM.
