The Goebels and the Flynns have been connected for many, many years. I have so many incredible memories of "Mr.Ralph". He was my Dad's best man in 1951 during his marriage to my Mom. He believed all God's creatures should be treated with respect and his son and I found this out when we were incinerating cicadas with a magnifying glass in the Goebels backyard on Oak Drive. He was a strong environmentalist as we discovered the hard way when Tom and I dumped a whole case of empty Miller Beer cans on a neighbors lawn. I won't drink Miller to this day. He could also be a push over for unusual requests from Tom and me, as well. What immediately comes to mind was when Mr. Ralph allowed us to play the 45 rpm record of the "Monster Mash" over and over again on his top of the line stereo in their Forest Park Avenue basement. This would have been around 1963. It's a wonder he didn't run screaming from the house!

But here's the bottom line on this great and good man. I know first hand and for an absolute fact that he married an incredible lady...Miss Heidi (Jer-Jer)...and they produced two amazing children...Tom and Lisa. I've known Tom since I was an embryo and he is the closest thing I have to a big brother. The best, best friend anyone could ask for. And what can I say about Lisa. She is a hugely successful entrepreneur and better than that, she can walk on her toes like a Ray Harryhausen cyclops!

Mr. Ralph you will be missed. Thanks for being a big part of my life.
